Barbara M. Lambert, BSN,MPA,RN, the founder of ElderCare Consulting, is a Nurse and Geriatric Care Manager who has had an extensive professional career in geriatric care. She founded, and for more than twenty years, was the director of a program for a major medical center in Bergen County that provided multiple services to area senior citizens. Barbara created ElderCare Consulting in response to the dilemma individuals and families face about how to care for elderly parents and loved ones.
This popular program continues today through the Lauder family, under the direction of Cindy A. Lauder, BS,BSN,RN, pictured below with daughter, Kelly. Cindy Lauder is a Nurse and Geriatric Care Manager with over thirty years experience in nursing. She also works as a Nursing Supervisor for one of the top medical centers in the country. Because of Cindy’s special knowledge and concern for the needs of the elderly, she established ElderCare Consulting II to advocate for seniors, and help them and their families with some of the more difficult decisions involved in caregiving.
Cindy is honored to be the recipient of awards for nursing excellence. In addition to being an active member of the American Nurses Association and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Cindy has been a member of the Aging Life Care Association for over 20 years.
